up the outing by enjoying a pup cup before relaxing under a shady tree.
She loves to explore on walks and can get a little determined when something catches her
nose, but she's very responsive to her person. A quick call of her name is often all it takes for
her to check back in and continue walking nicely. As she settles in, she's already showing
great progress with loose-leash walking and loves earning treats for her hard work.

(beef jerky is a favorite, but she's becoming more interested in other treats too), making training

she truly deserves. Her previous family described her as easygoing and potty trained. She has
lived with children and teens, also lived with another dog and enjoyed playing with other dogs.
Despite her size (100 lbs!), Lola walks amazing on leash. She’s a big girl, who actually
resembles a large corndog (due to her color, shape, and size), so one of her biggest needs is a
loving home that will help her get back to a healthy weight through proper nutrition, exercise,
and plenty of care.
At the shelter, Lola is incredibly sweet and loves being close to her people. She was the perfect
sidekick in the play yard, spending a good part of her time right by my side. On walks, she
would even look back to make sure I was still there. It’s clear this girl adores her humans and
wants nothing more than to be their companion.
Lola has some calloused elbows and would love a comfortable, cozy home where someone will

entertainment. He enthusiastically demolished a carrot and picked a favorite toy, which he then
promptly remodeled by removing every last bit of stuffing. Clearly, he has opinions and he’s not
afraid to express them!
