up quality time with his human friends. He is a smart, quick study who already knows the sit
command, takes treats gently, and learns very quickly with a little focused direction! While not
originally listed as a potty dog at the shelter, he showed great outdoor instincts by taking care
of business right away as soon as he stepped into the yard.

into the kiddie pool to cool off and hang out. He is wonderfully playful and toy-loving, adoring

around the yard!
Kion The Lion has been having a tough time in the shelter environment and is so ready to

Truffles is a sweet senior sweetheart who proves that age is just a number. Estimated to be
around 9 years old, this lovely lady came to the shelter as a confiscate and is now hoping her
next chapter is filled with comfort, love, and plenty of squeaky toys.
Her favorite thing? Squeaky tennis balls! The moment a squeaky tennis ball was tossed,
Truffles eagerly leaped up, caught it, and proudly trotted around showing off her prize. Watching
her happily strut around with her favorite toy is enough to make anyone smile.
Truffles is a breeze to walk! She enjoys taking her time, happily strolling alongside you while
soaking in the world around her.Her frosted face is a beautiful reminder of the years she's lived,
but her joyful spirit makes it clear she's still got plenty of life left to enjoy.
As a senior, Truffles could use some extra love and care. She's carrying a little extra weight,
and regular walks paired with a healthy diet will help her feel more comfortable. She also has
several large masses that should be evaluated by a veterinarian so she can receive the care
she deserves.
Truffles is a happy, gentle girl with a heart full of love and a tail that still wags for squeaky toys.
If you're looking for a loyal companion to share leisurely walks, cozy naps, and lots of affection,
Truffles is ready to steal your heart.

and find her forever family. She’s already spayed, so she’s ready to go home today!
Lady is officially house-trained at the shelter, patiently holding her business until she gets
outside. She also has great leash manners, walking calmly alongside her handler while taking
in her surroundings. She’s wonderfully neutral around other dogs, remaining calm and
unbothered when other pups pass by her play yard or walk nearby.
Lady is a total star student! She knows her name, is highly motivated by treats, and already
knows several basic commands, including sit, shake, and lay down. Lady’s fun-loving
personality really shines in the yard. She is a total water lover who enjoys splashing around in
the kiddie pool and chasing—and even biting at—the cool water coming from the hose!
Lady is also a fetch superstar! She has a preference for smaller tennis balls and loves chasing
them down, bringing them right back, and politely dropping them at your feet. At 6 years old,

Zeus is a vibrant and friendly young boy who arrived at the shelter as an owner surrender. His
previous family provided excellent insight into his character, describing him as an easy-going,
active, and social companion. According to his former owners, Zeus has experience living
successfully with children and a small dog. He is already potty trained and has a solid
foundation of basic manners.
Zeus is a highly intelligent dog who is eager to please. He is very motivated by treats, which
makes him an excellent candidate for continued training. He currently knows the commands for
"sit" and "come," and he is actively working on mastering "lay down." While he is a smart and
capable learner, Zeus is a high-energy boy who will require an adopter committed to providing
him with consistent training and mental stimulation.
True to his youth, Zeus is active and full of life. He walks with great enthusiasm and is eager to
explore the world with his handler. He is currently listed as a "potty dog" at the shelter, showing
his commitment to cleanliness. Zeus is a deeply affectionate boy who thrives on human
attention. It is important to note that he becomes very excited when he sees other dogs, when
he’s on a walk, so he will need a patient owner who can provide him with the guidance and
training necessary to manage his enthusiasm in social settings.
Zeus is searching for a forever home that can match his energy and provide him with the
exercise and structure he needs to thrive. If you believe you have the perfect home for this
sweet boy, please come and meet him today. If you are not yet ready for a permanent
commitment, please ask about our Foster Field Trip, Foster, or Foster-to-Adopt programs.
These opportunities are a wonderful way to give Zeus a break from the shelter environment and
allow you to get to know him in a relaxed home setting.
To help Zeus settle into your home, we've packed a special Pup Starter Kit! This kit includes a

Meet Buttercup, a sweet 2-year-old girl who is searching for a loving home!
Buttercup is listed as a potty dog, meaning most likely house-trained, which helps make her
transition into a new home smooth and easy. On lead, she walks nicely and loves staying
close to her human companions.
She can be a little shy and apprehensive at first, so she appreciates a gentle, slow approach
when getting to know new friends. Once she feels comfortable, her loving personality shines
through, and she truly enjoys gentle pets and affection. Buttercup is treat-motivated and
responds wonderfully to human direction, already knowing the come command! While she gets
excited when seeing other dogs pass by, she is eager to listen to her handler.
Because the shelter environment can be overwhelming for her, Buttercup will thrive best in a
calm home where she can settle in and build confidence at her own pace.
If you are looking for a gentle, loyal companion to share peaceful days with, Buttercup is ready
to meet you!
If you would like to get to know her better outside of the shelter environment, ask staff about our
foster programs to give Buttercup a well-deserved break from the shelter. Come meet Buttercup
today!
Here's what Buttercup's foster family had to say her time in foster care:
"Buttercup is an absolute love bug. She might be a bit shy and timid initially, but then she
warms up quickly and is all cuddles. She will bury her face in your neck and give kisses. On
leash, she stays close by your side and needs you to lead. She’s a young, curious pup who’s
taking it all in during walks - the sights, smells, sounds - and every so often she will lean her
side on your leg as you walk. Such a sweetheart! Buttercup is clearly searching for someone to
adore, and with loving guidance will be your most loyal and loving best friend. What an amazing
girl. "
Zeus is a distinguished 12-year-old neutered gentleman who's ready to leave shelter life behind
and head home with a family of his own today. After being surrendered by his owner, this sweet
senior deserves nothing more than a soft bed, a loving home, and people who will cherish him
through his golden years.
Tall, skinny, and wonderfully lanky, Zeus could use a few extra pounds to fill out his frame. His
striking ice-blue eyes and unique mix of breeds make him one handsome fellow. We can only
imagine how many hearts he stole in his younger days—but this older gentleman is just as
captivating.
Like many dogs adjusting to a big life change, Zeus is still getting his bearings at the shelter.
During his time outside, he was much more interested in exploring his surroundings than
seeking attention, happily sniffing his way around the yard and taking in all the new sights and
smells. If you come to meet him, give him the time and space he needs to settle in. Don't
expect him to shower you with affection right away—trust takes time, especially after such a
major transition. We have a feeling that once Zeus feels safe, he'll show just what a special
companion he can be.
Zeus appears to enjoy leisurely walks and would be happiest with a family that appreciates a
slower pace. Daily strolls, plenty of opportunities to sniff and explore, good meals, and lots of
love and TLC are all this sweet senior is asking for.
While outside, Zeus showed some interest in a calm dog walking along the perimeter of the
play yard. If you have other pets at home, we always recommend slow, thoughtful introductions
and giving everyone plenty of time and space to adjust.
No senior should have to spend their golden years in a shelter. Zeus is ready for a fresh start, a
warm place to rest his head, and a family who will remind him that he's loved every single day.
Could that family be yours?
Meet Jim Beam, a handsome, striking young pup with classic good looks who is ready for a
loving home or foster family!
Jim Beam is a sweet, gentle, and cautious guy who takes a thoughtful moment to politely
explore his surroundings when meeting new friends. While not officially flagged in the system
yet, Jim Beam immediately looked for a spot to potty as soon as he stepped out into the yard,
showing great instincts for outdoor routines!
He is a smart and obedient pup who already knows the sit command and is very motivated by
tasty treats like beef jerky. When it comes to toys, Jim Beam is intrigued by squeaky soft toys
and will happily trot right over to check them out whenever he hears a squeak.
Jim Beam is ready to head home today!
If you would like to get to know him better outside of the shelter environment, ask staff about
our foster programs to give Jim Beam a well-deserved break from the kennel. Come meet Jim
Beam today!

Meet Jax, a mature, sweet, and shy boy who loves to stay close and is looking for his loving
forever home! He is a gentle and loving guy who can be a little shy initially due to fear and
kennel distress, but he brightened up and wagged his tail when blown kisses. Jax needs a
gentle handler who gives him a slow approach, time, and space to feel safe and decompress.
Jax is a smart boy who already knows sit and shake. He loves to gently reach out and hold
onto your hand with his paw, gripping it as if he wants to stay right by your side. He took beef
jerky and freeze-dried liver treats from your hand, though he preferred to drop them on the
ground to eat comfortably on his own terms. Jax is also completely non-reactive to other dogs
passing by the yard.

Jayco is an estimated 6-year-old sweetheart with a thick, fluffy coat and a face that's sure to
steal your heart. Sadly, this handsome boy came to the shelter as a stray, and he's now
hoping someone will give him the fresh start he deserves.
Like many dogs, Jayco isn't thriving in the shelter environment. The constant noise, unfamiliar
surroundings, and lack of a normal routine have left him feeling stressed and anxious. It's easy
to see that shelter life just isn't where he's meant to be. What he really needs is a loving home
where he can relax, enjoy regular walks, get plenty of mental enrichment, and finally feel safe
again.
Once you spend a little time with him, though, Jayco's sweet personality shines through. While
I was switching out his collars, he happily flopped onto his back and looked up at me as if to
say, "Excuse me... I think it's time for belly rubs!" He stayed there soaking up the affection,
and it was impossible not to smile. It was such a tender reminder that underneath all the stress
is a dog who simply wants love.
Jayco also discovered the kiddie pool during our time together and quickly decided it was the
perfect place to cool off. Before long, he was happily lounging in the water, looking much more
relaxed.
Jayco is a very handsome, very special boy who deserves a chance to leave the stress of
shelter life behind. We can't wait to see the dog he'll become once he's back in a home where
he can truly decompress and be himself. Don't let this fluffy, lovable guy pass you by—Jayco is
ready to trade shelter life for a forever family.

Poor Enrique has been waiting at the shelter for far too long, and this sweet boy deserves so
much more than kennel life. At just 4 years old, Enrique came to the shelter as a stray, and
despite everything he has been through, he continues to be an affectionate, goofy, loving dog
who just wants to be someone’s buddy.
Enrique is a friendly boy and loves giving kisses! He enjoys goofing around with his people,
soaking up attention, and showing you just how much love he has to give. He’s also a very
polite treat taker and already knows how to “sit” — the moment treats come out, Enrique
knows exactly what position he needs to be in! He also enjoys his walks and sniffing around
environment.
He is the kind of dog who would thrive with a family that truly considers their dog part of the
family. Someone who will include him, cherish him, love him, and give him the stability and
affection he has been missing. He has waited long enough!
Note: Enrique did arrive with some ear issues and may need a check up to make sure he
continues to be happy and healthy!
Allow us to introduce you to a truly special canine companion, the one and only Buddah! This
endearing boy, with a heart as golden as his disposition, is patiently waiting to find his forever
or foster home where he can share his endless affection.
At a distinguished seven years young, Buddah embodies the perfect blend of youthful spirit and
seasoned wisdom. He's well past the boisterous puppy stage, offering all the benefits of a
perfectly polished companion without the typical 'learning curve.' Buddah has truly mastered the
art of being a good boy, showcasing impeccable manners that will make him a delightful
addition to any household.
His affection is truly heartwarming. Buddah possesses an incredibly expressive 'smile' – a
genuine, tail-wagging delight that illuminates his charming face the moment he realizes he has
your attention and companionship. He thrives on connection and is happiest when he knows
he's surrounded by love.
Life's simple pleasures bring Buddah immense joy. He savors gentle, unhurried strolls, relishing
the opportunity to explore new scents and stretch his legs at a comfortable pace. Inside, his
playful side emerges with his beloved 'stuffies,' which he enjoys gently carrying. This intelligent
boy already understands foundational commands like 'sit,' hinting at his eagerness to please
and potential for further learning. Buddah is also most likely already house trained.
In essence, Buddah is an absolute treasure – a perfectly medium-sized companion ready to fill
your home with calm, cuddles, and an abundance of unconditional love. If you're seeking a
devoted, joyful, and effortlessly charming presence in your life, look no further. Buddah is
eagerly awaiting the chance to become your newest family member and best friend. Please

Meet Agatha, a sweet, affectionate 3-year-old lady who is ready to find a loving forever home
where she can offer endless loyalty and affection!
Agatha is an official house-trained potty dog at the shelter, immediately taking care of her
business as soon as she steps outside into the yard. She is a smart, polite girl who takes
treats gently and already knows how to sit on command. She is also completely easygoing
around other pups, remaining non-reactive when dogs pass right by her yard.

and chasing balls aren't really her thing—she prefers human love and being a shadow
companion, following right by your side wherever you walk with a happy wag! She is an
absolute sweetie pie who loves being close to her person, giving sweet hugs, soaking up head
scratches, and happily rolling over for belly rubs. On warm days, she also enjoys cooling off
under the refreshing outdoor mists.

Meet Raider, a curious, handsome 2-year-old boy who is completely ready to find a loving home
to call his own! He originally came to the shelter as an owner surrender and is eager to start his
next chapter with a wonderful family.
Raider is an absolute breeze to retrieve and leash up right at his kennel door. He walks nicely
on lead overall, showing only slight, manageable pulling when he gets excited to check out a
new spot. While in the yard, Raider is a natural investigator who stays hyper-focused on
exploring his environment, sniffing every corner, and taking in all the outdoor scents.
Because he is so environment-focused while outdoors, new sights and scents take center
stage over toys, squeakers, or treats! While his previous household reported living with
chickens, Raider demonstrated an active prey drive at the shelter by chasing after a pigeon on
grounds, so homes with free-roaming poultry or small birds should take precautions.
Raider is an inquisitive, fun companion who will love going on adventures and exploring the
world by your side. If you would like to get to know him better outside of the shelter
environment, ask staff about our foster programs to give Raider a well-deserved break from the
shelter. Come down to meet Raider today!
