Smokey is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of extreme fear. Smokey
and his littermates are now housed in a suite to give them some time together to decompress.
Smokey is very tense, has dilated pupils, and hard stares at staff. He does hiss and growl. He
tolerates all pets, but doesn't seek the attention. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to
adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
