I am a 44 pound spayed female. I have been here for 63 days.
Here's some more info about me:
Meet Luria, an active and playful mature girl who is spayed and ready to find her loving forever
home. When she first came to the shelter, she was shut down and shy, but she has since
blossomed into a happy, playful lady.
Luria absolutely loves affection and staying close to her person. She is highly motivated by treats
and already knows how to sit, lay down, and come. True to her playful nature, she likes squeaky
toys, chasing the ball, and absolutely loves hanging in the kiddie pool! She needs a home that will
give her the time and patience for exercise and training to keep her mind and body happy. If you
would like to get to know her better outside of the shelter environment, ask staff about our foster
programs to give Luria a great break from the kennel. Come meet Luria today.

Kira the Wonder Pup is ready to trade the shelter for a couch, a family, and a second chance.
This sweet girl is affectionate, curious, and confident enough to entertain herself when needed. She
loves exploring her surroundings, playing with balls and rope toys, then settling in for a well-earned
nap. House-trained and crate-trained, Kira already knows the routines of family life. She may know
basic commands in Spanish and is a smart girl who’s ready to learn everything you want to teach
her!
Kira has lived with children of all ages and was described by her previous family as active,
protective, and loving. She’ll happily spend time with her people but also has an independent streak
that makes her an easy companion.
Fireworks aren’t her favorite, and she prefers not to have her ears or paws fussed with, but
otherwise Kira is ready to share her big heart with a family of her own. She’s waited long
enough—now she just needs someone to choose her.

Here's some more info about me:
Meet Nala, a resilient, sweet-natured girl who is ready for her fresh start in a loving home! Arriving
from a difficult situation, Nala has shown incredible grace and patience. She previously dealt with
dermatitis and ear infections, but her skin is healing wonderfully and her coat is looking better every
day!
In her kennel, Nala is a gentle and quiet observer. She doesn't bark or demand attention—she
simply sits politely and waits in hope of a friendly visitor. Once out in the yard, her affectionate and
gentle spirit truly shines.
Nala is a smart girl who is eager to connect and loves earning rewards! She already knows sit, lay
down, and how to give paw/shake, gently placing her paw in your hand like a true princess. When it
comes to snack time, she is a big fan of freeze-dried liver and beef jerky treats!
When she gets excited, Nala shows off her happy side with play-bows, playful zoomies, and a love
for soft, squeaky plush toys. She is also a rockstar in dog playgroups, serving as a polite "greeter"
dog who welcomes newcomers with a calm, friendly greeting. She is non-reactive, social, and great
around other dogs. Whether joining a home with other canine friends or being your spoiled single
pup, Nala will be a quiet, loyal, and loving companion.
If you would like to get to know her better outside of the shelter environment, ask staff about our
foster programs to give Nala a well-deserved break from the kennel. Come meet Nala today!

Here's some more info about me:
Lala is a lovely senior girl, estimated to be around 9 years old, who has found herself back at the
shelter after being adopted from us many years ago. While we don't know the circumstances that
brought her back, we do know she deserves a soft place to land and a family to love her through
her golden years.
Weighing in at 48 pounds, Lala is a medium-sized pup who somehow feels much smaller in
person. With her rich chocolate coat, frosted snout, and delicate little face, she has the sweetest,
most gentle look. She even resembles a Dachshund mix, making her all the more unique.
Lala is easy to walk and has lovely leash manners. It's clear she's a bit unsure of her surroundings
right now, and who could blame her? Shelter life is a big adjustment, especially for a dog who
thought she'd already found her forever home. She's still taking it all in and isn't especially
affectionate just yet, but she has a quiet, gentle sweetness about her that shines through.
We think that once Lala has the chance to settle into a calm, loving home, decompress, and feel
safe again, more of her personality will begin to blossom. If you're looking for a kind-hearted
companion who deserves a second chance, Lala is ready to meet you.

Outside in the yard, Sully shows off his fun, playful spirit and loves chasing after toys like squeaky
raccoons! He is also a total cuddle bug who absolutely loves getting cuddled, getting his head
scratched, and showering his human friends with affection.
Sully is a sweet, fun-loving, and affectionate companion who can't wait to find his forever family. If
you would like to get to know him better outside of the shelter environment, ask staff about our

Meet Bodger, a 3-year-old, beauty with an adorable spotted nose and a sweet, gentle smile! He is
a true lover boy waiting for a soft place to land.
Bodger is an official house-trained potty dog at the shelter, keeping his space clean and waiting to
handle business outdoors. He has great leash manners, walking very well on lead and staying easy
to guide.
He is social and sweet, remaining calm and non-reactive when other dogs pass by the play yard!
Once he trusts you, Bodger is incredibly sweet and affectionate—he absolutely loves head
scratches, leaning into your lap, and resting his head right against you.
Bodger is a sensitive, slightly shy guy who prefers a slow approach and isn't a fan of loud squeaky
toys or the bustling shelter environment. He will thrive in a peaceful foster or forever home where he
can decompress and let his warm, affectionate personality truly shine.
If you would like to get to know him better outside of the shelter environment, ask staff about our

Meet Sparky, a handsome 7-year-old boy who is looking for a gentle, understanding home where
he can feel safe and secure! Sparky requires a slow approach with a little extra time and patience
as he warms up to new friends, but his gentle nature quickly shines through as he settles in.
Sparky is a friendly, observant boy who jumped right up to the fence to greet a passing familiar
face! He responds curiously to squeaky noises, coming right over to investigate the sounds, and
shows a sweet, mild interest whenever a tennis ball is gently tossed his way.
This calm, patient companion is best suited for a peaceful environment with a family who will give
him the time he needs to relax and decompress. Sparky has so much gentle affection to offer the
right family!

Here's some more info about me:
Meet Choso, a sweet and handsome 1.5-year-old boy who is hoping his next chapter will be a
forever one.
Choso was adopted from the shelter as a puppy, but sadly, he has found himself back here—this
time as a stray. His people never came looking for him, and we can only imagine how confusing
that must be for this young boy.
Right now, Choso is taking some time to process his new surroundings. He loves sniffing and
exploring his environment, and when you first meet him, he may not seem completely engaged.
Sudden movements can sometimes make him cower or flinch, so he just needs a little patience
and understanding while he figures things out.
But don’t let his initial uncertainty fool you. Choso is still a puppy, and we’re confident his
personality will shine through once he feels safe and comfortable. He will come to you—he just
needs the time and space to build trust at his own pace.
This sweet boy deserves someone who will give him the patience, love, and security he’s been
missing. We can’t wait to see the happy, confident Choso underneath all that uncertainty.
Come meet Choso and give this handsome boy the chance to show you who he really is

already knows how to sit on command. She is also completely easygoing around other pups,
remaining non-reactive when dogs pass right by her yard.
Outside in the yard, Agatha is all about spending quality time with her favorite humans. Toys and
chasing balls aren't really her thing—she prefers human love and being a shadow companion,
following right by your side wherever you walk with a happy wag! She is an absolute sweetie pie
who loves being close to her person, giving sweet hugs, soaking up head scratches, and happily
rolling over for belly rubs. On warm days, she also enjoys cooling off under the refreshing outdoor
mists.

reinforcement, which will make future training sessions a fun bonding experience. He is also a
patient, quiet companion who stays close by your side.

quickly to gentle affection, head scratches, and reassuring contact. He is still working on getting

up his confidence in new surroundings.

Here's some more info about me:
Nelli is a truly precious girl who is still learning to trust, but once she feels safe, she’ll be your
shadow—and your best friend.
Estimated to be around 5 years old and weighing about 40 pounds, Nelli came to the shelter as a
stray. She was timid at first and hesitant to head out for a walk, but once she got comfortable, her
sweet personality quickly started to come through. Before long, she was following her person
everywhere, coming in close for affection and snuggles, and gently sitting beside them whenever
they moved away. She’s a total velcro girl who simply wants to be loved.
Nelli is incredibly gentle and walks nicely on leash. She would make an amazing companion for
someone looking for a loyal BFF who wants nothing more than to be by their side.
The shelter veterinary team believes Nelli may have a bladder stone. The good news is that this is
something that should be treatable, and hopefully the shelter will get it taken care of, but it’s part of
what this poor sweet girl is dealing with right now.
If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate, devoted companion, please consider giving Nelli the
loving home she deserves. She has so much love to give.

This adorable boy is a 47 lb, compact Husky with a wonderfully easygoing personality. He is calm,
gentle, loving, and affectionate without being overwhelming. He is content spending time with his
people or doing his own thing, truly a go with the flow kind of dog. I was pleasantly surprised at how
quiet and well-mannered he was. He had no issue with apartment living for the day and waits until
he is outside to go to the bathroom. He rides amazingly well in the car and walks beautifully on a
loose leash, making outings effortless. He was also non-reactive to other dogs, children, and even
my cat, remaining calm and neutral in their presence. Overall, he is simply a sweet, adaptable,
easygoing boy with adorable looks and a mellow temperament. He was such a pleasure to have
around. Blueberry would make a wonderful companion for anyone looking to add a loyal pup to their
family.

Mars is a smart girl who's eager to please and show what a Good Girl she is, while at the same
time trying to overcome her shyness (tasty treats help with that!). But Mars is a very affectionate
girl once she's learned to trust you and will happily appeal to you for more treats with her sad
puppy dog eyes, which she has basically perfected!
Mars came to the shelter after being surrendered by her owner on March 7th. She had been with
them for most of her life and was described as an active, protective dog. While she previously lived
primarily as an outdoor dog, she is kennel trained and has a solid foundation of training. She would
love a committed home where she can really be a part of the family.
Mars is a smart girl who already knows several commands, including sit, settle, come, leave it, and
no. She’s an active dog who loves toys, especially ropes, bones, and Kongs, which are great ways
to keep her engaged and happy. In her previous home, she lived with other large dogs, though she
was reported not to get along with cats or smaller dogs and was said to be a little energetic around
young children but did well with older kids.
Mars would do best with an owner who can provide structure, continued guidance, and plenty of
activity. She's just waiting for someone to return her loyal, loving companionship. Come down and
foster or adopt her today!
To help Mars settle into your home, we've packed a special Pup Starter Kit! This kit includes a
crate, leash, collar, harness, treats, a slow feeder, and a scholarship for our 5-week "Bark to
Basics" group training classes. These free classes cover essential skills like basic obedience and
manners to help you start off on the right paw together. Learn more about our training classes <a

Here's some more info about me:
This chunky girl truly lives up to her name—she’s basically a gigantic potato, and she’s just as
sweet as can be. Potato is a sensitive soul who can be quite fearful in the shelter environment. She
doesn’t always want to leave her kennel for a walk, but with a little patience, encouragement, and a
few treats, she warms up and is happy to head outside.
Once she’s out, Potato is a dream on leash. She enjoys relaxed walks and, even more, simply
being close to her people. In the play yard, she likes to hang out nearby and soak up some quiet
companionship. She’s the kind of dog who would be perfectly content enjoying peaceful walks
followed by plenty of lounging and relaxing at home.
Potato absolutely loves treats and will happily show off her “sit” for one! Her waistline, however,
says it’s time to cut back on the snacks. A healthier diet, measured meals, and a gradual exercise
routine will help her get to a healthier weight. Since she doesn’t do well in the heat, early morning
or evening walks would be ideal as she gets started on her fitness journey.
When it comes to other dogs, Potato appears comfortable seeing dogs pass by her play yard here
at the shelter, but she is dog selective and gets along with some dogs better than others. Any
canine introductions should be done thoughtfully to make sure everyone is a good match.
Potato may need a little time and patience to feel comfortable in a new environment, but
underneath that initial shyness is a wonderfully sweet girl who simply wants to feel safe and loved.
If your idea of the perfect dog is a gentle companion who enjoys leisurely walks, quiet time, treats
(in moderation!), and hanging out by your side, Potato would love the chance to be your girl.
To help Potato settle into your home, we've packed a special Pup Starter Kit! This kit includes a
crate, leash, collar, harness, treats, a slow feeder, and a scholarship for our 5-week "Bark to

Meet Lambchop - a senior, shy boy who is a true gentleman looking for a quiet home where he can
get the time, patience, and slow approach he needs to come out of his shell! Although he can be a
bit shy initially, he warms up and truly loves affection and soft pets once he feels secure.
Once comfortable, Lambchop opens up with play and reveals his silly, goofy personality! He loves
soft squeaky toys, getting very playful with squeakers as he chases his toys around the yard. He
will even happily execute a solid sit command when motivated by a squeaky toy! He showed low
food motivation during his yard time, preferring toys and soft attention instead.
When it comes to handling, Lambchop can be a bit hesitant to leave his kennel space and needs
gentle encouragement, but he walks remarkably well on the leash once out.
Here's how he did on a recent Field Trip!
'Lambchop had a wonderful time on his foster field trip! We went for a short walk outside and bass
pro shop! He seems to be potty trained, he waited to do his business outside! He also is very
responsive on the leash! I used words like stop and ah-ah to help him navigate bass pro and he
knew what to do! He’s a very smart boy. He was happiest walking around bass pro. He loved taking
in all the smells and attention. He got so many compliments from people saying how beautiful he
is!! Everyone wanted to pet him because he just has that calm and welcoming energy. He truly
lives up to his name! Sweet, gentle, and he loves people!! He was great in the car. He laid down the
whole time and had no issues! He’s very well-mannered and loves getting pets!! He’s a happy boy
out of the shelter and would be such a loyal companion to his adopter!'
If you would like to get to know him better outside of the shelter environment, ask staff about our

appears to be a gentle, well-mannered soul who just needs a little bit of patience to build initial
confidence before showing off her sweet nature.
She is a sweet but shy lady who requires a slow approach to get comfortable with new people.
Once introduced and allowed to sniff, she will happily let you leash her up, and she walks very well
on a leash without pulling or resisting. Pebbles is highly affectionate once she is comfortable with
you and truly enjoys receiving gentle attention, including neck scratches.
When it comes to house habits, she is listed as a potty dog at the shelter, indicating that she
holds her business and keeps her kennel clean. Pebbles is very toy and treat motivated, showing
a strong, alert interest in the sound of squeaky toys and proving to be very responsive to
freeze-dried liver treats, which will be wonderful for bonding.
She is also dog-friendly and non-reactive toward other dogs. When another dog walked directly
past the fence, she remained completely calm and non-aggressive, choosing to walk over to the
barrier for a friendly and curious sniff. If you would like to get to know her better outside of the

Kion is a sweet and affectionate soul who loves ear scratches, head pets, and soaking up quality
time with his human friends. He is a smart, quick study who already knows the sit command,
takes treats gently, and learns very quickly with a little focused direction! While not originally listed
as a potty dog at the shelter, he showed great outdoor instincts by taking care of business right
away as soon as he stepped into the yard.
When it comes to fun, Kion is an absolute water and pool fan who enjoys stepping into the kiddie
pool to cool off and hang out. He is wonderfully playful and toy-loving, adoring nothing more than
carrying squeaky plush toys around in his mouth while happily trotting around the yard!

Here's some more info about me:
Meet Lexi, a mature independent girl who is looking for a patient and loving forever home. Lexi is a
unique lady who knows exactly what she likes and dislikes, and she is very good at letting you
know! She is an independent spirit who isn't the classic cuddle type dog. Instead, she prefers to
simply be allowed to just be and isn't likely to approach immediately for intense affection.
While she is a sweet girl, she is also cautious and requires a patient, slow, and low-key approach.
She needs someone who is willing to take their time and let her adjust at her own pace. Lexi is
very communicative and will clearly let you know when she dislikes something. For example,
during a gentle brushing session, she barked to communicate that she wanted it to stop. She has
a low tolerance for grooming and brushing, so if attempted, it needs to be introduced in very small,
slow, and soft increments is highly recommended. If you would like to get to know her better
outside of the shelter environment, ask staff about our foster programs to give Lexi a great break
from the kennel. Come meet Lexi today.

Meet Tadpole, an incredibly happy, expressive, and deeply affectionate 3-year-old boy who is
entirely ready to leave his stray days behind and find a loving forever family to call his very own!
Since he is already neutered, he is all set to go home with his new family today without any waiting
period.
Tadpole is an official house-trained potty dog at the shelter, proving he has incredible house
manners by doing his business the absolute moment he enters the play yard and working hard to
keep his indoor space spotless. He is very easy to handle and leash up right in his space, walking
politely even when he is eager to come out for his walk.
This clever guy is a total star student who already knows how to sit for treats! While he can
sometimes get a little over-eager for a snack, he is an excellent listener—if you firmly tell him no,
he corrects himself immediately and sits down politely to wait his turn.
Tadpole is an absolute ray of sunshine with a massive smile, a constantly wagging tail, and a
wonderful vocal personality. Once his initial excitement from leaving the kennel settles down, he
reveals a beautifully relaxed, chill demeanor. He is a total lovebug who thrives on physical affection,
happily leaning right into you and softly closing his eyes while receiving head scratches.
At 3 years old, Tadpole is at the perfect age—past the chaotic puppy stages, but packed with a

household resume! Since she is already spayed, she is all set to go home with her new family
today without any waiting period.
Mosa comes with an absolutely wonderful background from her previous home of three years!
According to notes from her former family, she is a friendly, active, and easygoing companion who
successfully lived with kids of all ages.
Mosa is an official house-trained potty dog at the shelter, keeping her kennel space perfectly clean!
She showed zero fear when her handler approached, making her very easy to leash up inside her
run. While she was a bit too distracted by shelter stress to focus on commands, toys, or snacks
during her evaluation, her previous family notes that she actually loves toys and already knows her
basic commands! Once she has a quiet environment to decompress, her smart, playful side will
shine right through.
Outside in the play yard, Mosa revealed that she is a certified water lover! She thoroughly enjoyed
getting right into the kiddie pool, lying down in the water to relax and stay cool on warm days. She
also has a wonderfully independent streak, content to quietly explore, sniff around the grass, and
check out every corner of the yard at her own comfortable pace.

your life with, then Duke might just be your perfect match.
This sweet senior boy is the definition of "easy living." He's wonderfully laid-back and already has

Meet Thor, a mature, shy boy who is looking for a patient, loving home where he can blossom! He
is a gentle soul who can be a bit reserved at first and takes a bit of time to get used to new people,
requiring a soft, patient, and slow approach. Once he feels safe and realizes you are there to
comfort him, Thor warms up beautifully—he will come right over to stand by you and lean in closely
to soak up head scratches and physical affection.
Thor is head-sensitive and uncomfortable with standard slip leashes being placed over his head, but
he is completely cooperative and easy to leash when using a clip attached to his collar. He is
currently not motivated by treats while adjusting to the shelter, and his previous owner notes that
he uniquely only eats if his owner is standing right next to him. Because he is missing his family,
he is having a hard time eating in the shelter and will need extra patience and comfort to settle in.
According to his surrender information, Thor lived with another animal listed as "brother," indicating
he may have previously coexisted with another large dog. In the yard, Thor shows great
composure and zero reactivity around other dogs, remaining calm when other pups pass his fence
line.
If you would like to get to know him better outside of the shelter environment, ask staff about our
foster programs to give Thor a well-deserved break from the kennel. Come meet Thor today!

to leave shelter life behind and find a permanent forever family to call her very own! Since she is
already spayed, she is all set to go home with her new family today without any waiting period.
Lady is an official house-trained potty dog at the shelter, proving her excellent house-training
instincts by holding her business until she steps outside. She also has great leash manners,
walking calmly on lead, enjoying her surroundings, and never dragging her handler down the street.
She exhibits wonderful neutrality around other pups, remaining completely non-reactive and
unbothered when other dogs pass by her play yard or walk near her on lead.
This clever girl is a total star student! She is super smart, knows her name, is highly food and
treat-motivated, and smoothly performs several basic commands including sit, shake (giving paw),
and lay down!
Outside in the yard, Lady reveals her fun-loving side. She is a total water lover who thoroughly
enjoys stepping into the kiddie pool to splash around and having a blast chasing and biting at the
cool water spraying from the hose! Lady is also a fetch superstar who shows a preference for
smaller tennis balls, beautifully chasing them down, bringing them right back, and politely dropping
them at your feet.

Meet Dexter, a happy and goofy young boy who is already neutered and ready to find his forever

great insight into his personality. They noted that he is a protective, hyper active pup who
successfully lived with teenagers and another big dog. He is fully potty trained and was trusted to
be left free in the house when left alone.
At the shelter, Dexter has shown himself to be a total "Baby Huey" character—a very young, big,
and goofy boy! He is a wonderful potty dog and a strong boy who leads on walks because he just
wants to show you the world. When it's playtime, he absolutely loves to chase toys, though

drops it right at your feet, eagerly waiting for the next throw. He turns his head and perks right up
for squeaky toys, loving any kind of interactive fun. He is also a smart pup who already knows the
sit command and is super treat-motivated.
According to his previous home notes, Zeus is house-trained and has experience living with kids of
all ages! When passing other dogs by the play yard, Zeus stays cool, calm, and unfazed, showing
great non-reactive composure.
Because Zeus is struggling with kennel stress, he would thrive best in a calm, loving home
environment where he can decompress and be your trusty fetch partner.
If you would like to get to know him better outside of the shelter environment, ask staff about our
foster programs to give Zeus a well-deserved break from the kennel. Come meet Zeus today!

Meet Kim Possible, a sweet, young, shy, and cautious girl who is looking for a loving home where
she can get the patience, time, and slow approach she needs to build her confidence! She is a
cautious and sensitive soul who shows initial fearfulness in the shelter environment, keeping her tail
tucked between her legs while adjusting to the yard.
Kim Possible responds beautifully to gentle leadership; holding her leash and offering steady, calm
energy helps ground her when she feels the urge to pace back and forth. She is a sweet treat lover
who takes beef jerky treats gently directly from your hand while in her kennel, and she showed
great fence manners with zero reactivity when another dog walked along the opposite side of the
yard fence.
She benefits greatly from a patient handler who uses a slow, gentle touch and gives her the time
and space she needs to decompress and shine. If you would like to get to know her better outside

Here's some more info about me:
Minecraft is an estimated 5-year-old sweetheart who came to the shelter as a stray and is ready to
build a bright new future with a family of his own.
At around 50 pounds, Minecraft is the perfect medium-sized companion with an adorable face, a
big lovable head, and an even bigger heart. When I first met him, his eyes were full of curiosity and
wonder as he looked back at me through the glass of his kennel door. Before long, those curious
looks turned into a happy smile as he headed out for a walk, enjoyed plenty of pets, and happily
gobbled down lots of tasty treats.
If there's one way to Minecraft's heart, it's definitely through snacks! He's very treat-motivated and
takes treats with the gentlest manners, making training both fun and rewarding. He already knows
how to "sit," and with his love of treats, he's sure to enjoy learning even more.
With the summer heat, Minecraft wasn't too interested in toys or tennis balls. Instead, he preferred
spending time with his person, collecting treats, and enjoying a leisurely outing. He's an
affectionate boy who was happy to stay close by my side, welcomed hugs, and even handed out a
few sweet kisses along the way.
Come down to the shelter to meet Minecraft today! Minecraft could be just the perfect addition to
your family.

Here's some more info about me:
Zeus is a distinguished 12-year-old neutered gentleman who's ready to leave shelter life behind and
head home with a family of his own today. After being surrendered by his owner, this sweet senior
deserves nothing more than a soft bed, a loving home, and people who will cherish him through his
golden years.
Tall, skinny, and wonderfully lanky, Zeus could use a few extra pounds to fill out his frame. His
striking ice-blue eyes and unique mix of breeds make him one handsome fellow. We can only
imagine how many hearts he stole in his younger days—but this older gentleman is just as
captivating.
Like many dogs adjusting to a big life change, Zeus is still getting his bearings at the shelter.
During his time outside, he was much more interested in exploring his surroundings than seeking
attention, happily sniffing his way around the yard and taking in all the new sights and smells. If
you come to meet him, give him the time and space he needs to settle in. Don't expect him to
shower you with affection right away—trust takes time, especially after such a major transition. We
have a feeling that once Zeus feels safe, he'll show just what a special companion he can be.
Zeus appears to enjoy leisurely walks and would be happiest with a family that appreciates a
slower pace. Daily strolls, plenty of opportunities to sniff and explore, good meals, and lots of love
and TLC are all this sweet senior is asking for.
While outside, Zeus showed some interest in a calm dog walking along the perimeter of the play
yard. If you have other pets at home, we always recommend slow, thoughtful introductions and
giving everyone plenty of time and space to adjust.
No senior should have to spend their golden years in a shelter. Zeus is ready for a fresh start, a
warm place to rest his head, and a family who will remind him that he's loved every single day.
Could that family be yours?
I am a 70 pound neutered male. I have been here for 40 days.
Here's some more info about me:
Chopper may have been caught napping when I first met him! He was happily snoozing in his
kennel and seemed in no rush to wake up or head out for a walk. Once he got going, though, his
playful puppy energy quickly made an appearance.
At under a year old, Chopper is still very much a youngster with all the enthusiasm that comes with
it. He's a strikingly handsome boy with a sleek, glistening black coat and a face that's impossible
not to photograph. This photogenic pup is sure to turn heads wherever he goes.
Like any young dog, Chopper will benefit from continued training and guidance as he grows. He’s
also about 80 lbs! On leash, he's active, energetic, and excited to explore, so he'd likely do best
with a confident handler who can help channel his puppy enthusiasm. It's also worth remembering
that shelter dogs don't get nearly as many walks as they'd like, so some of that excitement is
simply the joy of finally getting outside.
Despite his youthful energy, Chopper has a wonderfully sweet side. He enjoys being close to his
people and was very comfortable with gentle handling. He patiently let me clean the little eye
boogers from his face and happily stayed right beside me while we hung out together. I even sat
down on his level, and he was content to simply be close.
Chopper is a handsome young pup with a kind heart, lots of potential, and a lifetime of adventures
ahead of him. With love, patience, and positive training, he's sure to grow into an incredible
companion.

experience living with kids and a small dog! They described her as active and friendly. In her kennel
space and yard, she is a gentle and polite girl who allows handlers to pet her gently and switch her
leash smoothly.
Roxy is a curious explorer who enjoys taking her time sniffing around, checking out squeaky toys,
and exploring the play yard at her own pace. When other dogs pass by her yard space, she
displays great dog-neutral energy, remaining completely calm and non-reactive. Shelter staff notes
show she responds very well to gentle guidance and patience.

him a slow approach, time, and space to feel safe and decompress.
Jax is a smart boy who already knows sit and shake. He loves to gently reach out and hold onto

comfortably on his own terms. Jax is also completely non-reactive to other dogs passing by the

one of the cutest things to watch.
Brown Sugah is playful, fun-loving, and absolutely adores his toys. Whether it's a tennis ball or
another favorite toy, he's happiest when he gets to chase it down, carry it around, and enjoy
playtime. After a good game, he's just as happy soaking up affection. He loves hanging out with his

Here's some more info about me:
Luna is an estimated 4-year-old sweetheart who came to the shelter as a stray, and we’re still
getting to know all the wonderful things that make her special.
With her soft face, beautiful brown spots, and sweet expression, Luna looks a little like an adorable
miniature cow. She may occasionally bark from her kennel to get your attention, but don’t let that
fool you—she simply doesn’t enjoy being cooped up all day. Once she gets outside, her
personality really begins to shine. She’s happy, playful, affectionate, and loves getting out to sniff,
explore, and take in everything around her.
Luna seems to enjoy attention and affection, but she also has an independent side and is perfectly
happy doing a little exploring on her own. We’re still learning about her, including just how playful
she might be once she’s comfortable in a home.
This sweet girl also has a few scars on her face, but they only add to the character of a dog who
deserves a fresh start.
Luna may not be at her best behind kennel bars, but give her the chance to stretch her legs and
show you who she really is, and you’ll meet a very sweet, happy girl who just wants to be seen,
loved, and given the opportunity to be herself.

Meet Oso, a handsome 6-year-old neutered male who is looking for a loving home where he can
heal, relax, and shine! Since he is already neutered, he is all set to go home with his new family
today without any waiting period.
Oso originally arrived at the shelter as an owner surrender alongside his buddy Lobo. He is an
easygoing, curious boy who loves spending time outdoors in the play yard, taking in all the fresh
air, sniffing around, and exploring his surroundings at a nice, relaxed pace. On lead, Oso is a
wonderful partner who walks very nicely alongside his handler.
Currently, Oso is sporting a recovery cone while he heals up from his recent neuter procedure and
receives a quick course of antibiotics for a routine urinary tract infection. Despite wearing his
temporary "party hat," Oso's calm, sweet disposition shines through every day. He is seeking a
cozy, supportive home with a family who can offer him gentle care, a comfortable place to
decompress, and a steady routine.
If you are looking for an easygoing, sweet-natured companion to fill your home with warmth, Oso is

Here's some more info about me:
Bart is an estimated four-year-old, 70-pound sweetheart who came to us as a stray. We don’t know
much about his life before arriving at the shelter, but the scars and scabs on his face suggest that
he may have been through some hard times. Whatever his past may have looked like, one thing is
clear: Bart’s gentle spirit hasn’t been broken.
Despite his size and strength, Bart walks beautifully on leash. He’s an easygoing, mellow kind of
guy who seems to simply want to be loved and feel safe. There’s something incredibly soft about
his personality—you can see it in the way he carries himself and interacts with the people around
him.
We’re still getting to know Bart and discovering his likes and preferences, but so far, he’s giving off
some seriously laid-back companion vibes. We can picture him happily lounging around the house
with his people, then heading out for a leisurely neighborhood walk. And while he certainly looks
like a dog who could keep up on longer walks or adventures, he also seems like he’d be perfectly
content being a homebody.
Bart doesn’t seem to need a complicated life. A comfortable home, a loving person, some good
walks, and a soft place to land might be all this sweet boy has ever wanted.
After whatever life he’s lived, Bart deserves the chance to finally experience the easygoing,
peaceful life he seems so ready for. If you’re looking for a gentle giant with a mellow personality
and a whole lot of love to give, Bart just might be your guy.

with. While he can be a little nervous when meeting new people at first, Kane warms up quickly

his foster field trip Walter was a total cuddle bug and just wanted to be close to his favorite people.

Marbles is a handsome senior gentleman who is ready to turn the page and start a wonderful new
chapter for his golden years. This distinguished boy has excellent house manners and knows
exactly how to prioritize his time outdoors; first things first, as soon as he heads outside, he is on
a mission to find the perfect spot for a potty break. Once he has that successfully taken care of, he
is all too happy to turn his focus back to you and shower you with attention.
He is an absolute pleasure to handle and walks great on the leash. Marbles is a curious explorer
who loves to figure out his surroundings, thoroughly enjoying his time sniffing and investigating who
else might have visited the area before him. He has a lovely social nature and was very cordial with
another dog that passed by the play yard, even giving a happy tail wag to say hello. He is also a
gentle soul who takes his favorite treats with the utmost politeness.
As he transitions into a home of his own, Marbles will benefit from a patient family that understands
the importance of a dedicated decompression period. If you have room in your heart and your home
for a sweet, well-mannered senior who will bring plenty of joy to your daily strolls, come and meet

Meet Joe Dirt, a young, sweet boy who is looking for his loving forever home. This adorable, goofy,
and affectionate big guy will make a fantastic companion for someone looking for a playful but
sweet dog. Despite his impressive size at over 90 lbs, he's lovingly described him as a big baby
who is incredibly eager to get out and play, showing lots of fun, youthful energy.
Joe Dirt has also successfully attended the shelter's playgroups, showing what a social guy he can
be. He enjoys high-energy dogs and is selective about what friends he has, but with proper
introductions, he could be successful in a home with other dogs.
This water lover absolutely loves wading in the water! If you have a kiddie pool at home, he would
be thrilled to splash around and dip his paws in it to cool off. He is also a gentle treat taker who is
highly motivated by beef jerky treats. While he has a great appetite, he takes food very gently and
does not try to snatch it from your hand, making him an absolute pleasure to reward.
Joe Dirt is a strong boy who can pull on the leash when he has his mind set on a specific direction,
but he is a good listener who ultimately listens well. You may just need to repeat yourself a couple
of times to get his focus back on you. He is a smart cookie who already responds beautifully to the
sit command, especially when a tasty treat is involved.
If you would like to get to know him better outside of the shelter environment, ask staff about our
foster programs to give Joe Dirt a great break from the kennel. Come meet Joe Dirt today.

Meet Brady, a majestic, quiet, and deeply deserving 8-year-old senior gentle giant who is searching
for a soft, peaceful place to spend his golden years! Since he is already neutered, he is completely
ready to go home with his hero today without any waiting period.
Brady is an official house-trained potty dog at the shelter, cleanly holding his business and working
hard to keep his indoor space perfectly spotless. He is an absolute breeze to walk on lead,
handling beautifully on his leash and proving to be polite and cooperative right out of his kennel
door. When it comes to other pups, Brady is a total model citizen, remaining completely
non-reactive and indifferent when canine neighbors walk past his play yard fence line.
This distinguished gentleman carries a calm, independent presence. He also has very refined
tastes—he is not easily won over by basic snacks, politely showing no interest in cheese or
freeze-dried liver treats! Brady is carrying a bit of extra weight and tends to gently favor and lift his
hind leg, so he will benefit immensely from a loving home that can help him shed a few pounds to
keep his senior joints moving comfortably.
Understandably, landing in a loud, high-stress shelter environment has been very difficult for Brady,
and he is exhibiting clear signs of fear and kennel distress inside his run. This sweet, sensitive boy
desperately needs a quiet refuge where he can decompress, relax, and adjust to the changes in
his life at his own comfortable pace.
Brady doesn't ask for much—just a quiet corner, a soft orthopedic bed, and a loving family to give
him the peaceful life he deserves.
If you would like to give this handsome senior a peaceful, comfortable break from the kennel, ask
staff about our foster programs or Foster Field Trips to get Brady into a quiet, healing space today.

Meet Nacho, a mature, sweet, and friendly boy who is looking for his loving forever home! He is an
affectionate sweetheart who absolutely loves physical affection, eagerly soaking up all the pets and
head scratches you are willing to give.

prefer to keep the toy, Nacho will happily carry the ball back and drop it right at your feet for
another throw. He is a bright, food-motivated boy who takes treats beautifully and gently from your
hand and already knows how to sit on cue. Nacho likes to bark in the yard, but it is purely a vocal
and friendly expression of excitement!

was super excited to step out of his kennel into the play yard. Past owner notes mention that
Nacho lived with a brother , there co-existing with another big dog.

Truffles is a sweet senior sweetheart who proves that age is just a number. Estimated to be around
9 years old, this lovely lady came to the shelter as a confiscate and is now hoping her next chapter
is filled with comfort, love, and plenty of squeaky toys.
Her absolute favorite? A squeaky tennis ball! The moment it was tossed, Truffles eagerly leaped up,
caught it, and proudly trotted around showing off her prize. Watching her happily strut around with
her favorite toy is enough to make anyone smile.
Truffles is a breeze to walk. She enjoys taking her time, happily strolling alongside you while
soaking in the world around her. Her frosted face is a beautiful reminder of the years she's lived, but
her joyful spirit makes it clear she's still got plenty of life left to enjoy.
As a senior, Truffles could use a little extra TLC. She's carrying some extra weight, and shedding a
few pounds with regular walks and a healthy diet would help her feel more comfortable. She also
has several large masses that should be evaluated by a veterinarian so she can receive the care
she deserves.
Truffles is a happy, gentle girl with a heart full of love and a tail that still wags for squeaky toys. If
you're looking for a loyal companion to share leisurely walks, cozy naps, and lots of affection,
Truffles is ready to steal your heart.

household background! Since he is already neutered, he is completely ready to step out of the
shelter and find a loving forever home where he can be your most faithful companion.
Ceaser comes with incredible home history! According to previous owner notes, he successfully
lived with both toddlers and teenagers, proving what a gentle guy he truly is. He was fully trusted to
have free run of the house when left home alone, resting quietly without causing any fuss or
accidents. Ceaser is also an official house-trained potty dog at the shelter, keeping his indoor
space clean. Another huge bonus—he is entirely unfazed by loud noises and has no issues with
the sound of fireworks!
Despite being a distinguished 8-year-old senior, Ceaser is a beautifully active boy who moves
smoothly, stays highly engaged during playtime, and has plenty of fun energy to share! Outside in
the yard, his youthful side blossoms whenever a tennis ball comes out. He loves fetch—chasing
balls across the yard, picking them up, and bringing them right back to keep the game going!
Ceaser carries himself with a wonderfully friendly, calm, and easygoing demeanor. He is deeply
affectionate and loves staying close to his people, walking right over to handlers for physical
