Here's some more info about me:
"This baby is so special"
Red is a sweet and gentle boy with a quiet nature. While he’s currently experiencing some fear and
kennel distress, he’s incredibly brave. At first, he was hesitant to leash up, retreating through the
doggy door to the back of his kennel. But with a little patience, he found his courage and now
steps forward, ready for adventures.
Once outside, Red walks beautifully on a leash, enjoying peaceful His foster would give him an A+
grade for his leash walking skills.
He’s a thoughtful pup, taking in his surroundings and sniffing everything he can find.
Though initially timid, his foster said it didn't take long for Red to warm up to them and start to
trust.
He would thrive in a patient, understanding home that gives him the space to come out of his shell.
He absolutely loves his walks and sniffing around, making him a perfect companion for someone
who enjoys morning walks in the neighborhood.
If you’re looking for a kindhearted, gentle dog who just needs a little time to feel safe, Red might be
the perfect match for you.

At around 6 years old, Mattel may not be a puppy, but he’s not quite ready for senior discounts
either! He’s at that perfect in-between age—mature enough to have great manners but still full of life
and love to give.
Mattel is a gentle soul who will melt your heart with his sweet, longing gaze. On walks, he’ll check
back to make sure you’re still with him, a little habit that proves just how much he values
companionship. He sits promptly on command, happily offers his paw, and is always eager to
learn—proving that you can teach an old (well, middle aged) dog new tricks!
With his wise eyes and handsome hound features, Mattel is both observant and curious, taking in
the world around him one sniff at a time. But as much as he enjoys exploring, his true passion is
being with his human friends—especially if treats are involved!
So far, Mattel has been a quiet and well-mannered companion, generally walking well on a leash,
and remaining calm when passing by other dogs. He’s easygoing, sweet, and ready to be
someone’s loyal best friend. On our walk, he soaked up the sunshine, happily lounging by my feet,
enjoying the peaceful moment away from the noise of the shelter. He’s a true companion
dog—loyal, calm, and always ready to share a quiet moment with his person.
Mattel recently had the chance to go on a foster field trip together with Sienna (another shelter
doggo), thanks to two amazing fosters who took them out for the day. They went on a pack
walk—keeping a little space between them—and handled it beautifully, showing just how
well-behaved they both are!
Mattel is ready to leave the shelter and move into a loving home. Could yours be the one he’s
looking for?

Meet Tim – Your New Best Friend with a Nose for Adventure!
Tim is the ultimate sniffing enthusiast, bursting with joy and always ready to explore the world one
scent at a time! This sweet, peppy pup shines when he’s outside the shelter, showing off his
playful side and gentle nature.
On a recent foster field trip, Tim proudly carried a baseball around for the whole outing—and even
made a new doggy friend, walking side by side like lifelong pals. His loyal heart and social spirit
truly stole the show!
Tim’s previous foster shared that he’s calm, friendly, and well-mannered around people and other
dogs, with no signs of reactivity or aggression. He’s the kind of dog who thrives with regular walks,
playtime, and lots of sniffing adventures—but he’s just as happy splooting out for some quiet time
and cuddles after the fun is done.
Bonus points? Tim appears to be housebroken and prefers doing his business on walks, keeping
his living space impressively clean.
Tim has been in our care since 03/05/25 and is ready to bring love, loyalty, and a whole lot of tail
wags to a foster home, adopter, or paw partner. If you’re looking for a cheerful, well-rounded
companion, Tim might just be your perfect match!

house trained.

happily go for walks, say hi to the neighbors and then meet you on the couch to keep up with
those Kardashians! Nikki is available for foster or adoption and could also benefit from a foster field
trip! Come down and meet her today!

Sandy is a sweetheart with a playful spirit and a whole lot of love to give! She’s the kind of dog who
lives life with enthusiasm—whether she’s chasing after a ball, going for a walk, or just flopping on
the couch for some serious snuggle time. Her foster mom even said she was the cuddliest dog
she’s ever met!
This confident and goofy gal recently enjoyed a two-night foster field trip where she proved she’s
the whole package: housebroken, affectionate, smart, and a total joy to be around. She was great
in the car, loved every outdoor adventure, played with toys, and then happily curled up for couch
time. Sandy truly thrives with active humans who also appreciate the value of a good cuddle
session.
She already knows “sit” and “paw,” is super treat-motivated, and improved her leash manners with
just a few walks. With a little continued guidance, this bright and eager girl will pick up even more
in no time.
Sandy would thrive in a home that embraces her zest for life—whether it’s neighborhood strolls,
hiking trails, or simply backyard fetch. She’s even dipped her toes into a bit of water fun! With her
mix of playfulness and affection, Sandy is ready to be your most loyal companion and best friend.

Meet Bon Jovi! Like the 80's pop star (minus the hair), Bon Jovi is full of love, and if he had a
karaoke mic, he'd sing about it!
He doesn't want someone that gives love a bad name, rather someone that says things like "thank
you for loving me", "I'll be there for you" and will never say good-bye.
This sweet boy is living on a prayer that someone out there with a huge heart will come scoop him
up even after they see he's an 8-year-old dog with a skin condition.
He's going to keep the faith that his beautiful smile, affectionate nature, impeccable leash manners,
and unconditional love and loyalty will be just what that special family is looking for.
After all, who says you can't go home?

Rex is curious and independent — the kind of dog who enjoys sniffing out new adventures and
exploring at his own pace. He’s confident and smart, always eager to see what’s around the next

head scratch or a quiet moment at your side after a fun walk.
With his balanced “adult dog energy,” Rex is past the puppy chaos but still has plenty of spunk.
He’d do well with someone who enjoys a dog with a little personality and a lot of heart — someone
who respects his independence but also makes room on the couch (and in the treat jar).
Rex is also a 'potty dog' at the shelter which means he waits to go outside to do his business and
is likely housebroken.
If you're looking for a loyal companion whose equal parts clever, cuddly, and treat-motivated, Rex is
ready to meet you. He's neutered and available to come home with you today for foster or

Get ready to meet Fievel, a bright and energetic boy brimming with potential!
This handsome dog is incredibly smart and already knows his basic commands – including an
enthusiastic "roll over"! He tackles every command with impressive eagerness, though he's still
mastering the art of patience, particularly with the "place" command (he'll go, but staying put is a
work in progress!).
Fievel is a happy-go-lucky guy who absolutely loves treats and affection. His zest for life is
contagious! He's got plenty of energy and enjoys his walks, though he currently prefers to take the
lead. Since he's highly treat-motivated, learning to walk politely by your side should be a rewarding
training journey. With a little consistency, he'll undoubtedly become a fantastic walking companion.
Fievel is looking for someone with the time and patience to harness his wonderful energy through
exercise and continued positive reinforcement training.
If you're ready to invest in this smart boy, the rewards – a loyal, happy, and well-trained companion
– will be immeasurable.
Come meet this sweet, enthusiastic boy today! Not sure if it's the perfect match right away? Ask
us about our Foster Field Trip, Foster, and Foster-to-Adopt programs to give Fievel a trial run in
your home.

Meet Mush, an active and energetic older gentleman with a youthful spirit!
While he appreciates a good treat, Mush's heart truly belongs to his beloved stuffy toys. This smart
boy already knows several commands, including "sit," "give paw," "place," "stay," and "come."
When called, he comes running with enthusiasm, sometimes with a little jump – which, being
treat-motivated, can easily be refined. His absolute favorite thing is a squeaky toy!
Mush is a strong boy who enjoys taking the lead on walks. He was also very easy to leash up in
his kennel. He's a potty dog in the shelter, as he promptly went potty when taken outside - usually
a good indication of being house-trained. Mush is hoping to find a family that will provide him with
ongoing training and plenty of opportunities to stretch his legs and explore.
Come and meet this happy-go-lucky pup today and see if you're the perfect match for his zest for
life. And if you'd like more time to decide, ask about our Foster field trip, Foster, and
Foster-to-Adopt programs – it's a wonderful way for Mush to enjoy some time outside the shelter
while you get to know him better.

girl is eager to find her forever family. She's already got a smart start with knowing the ""sit""
command, and this bright spark is ready to learn even more with a patient and engaged adopter.

– she goes crazy for classic pupperoni! You'll have no trouble motivating her with her favorite snack.
When it's warm out, get ready for some splashing fun because Peaches absolutely loves playing in
the kiddie pool! And if you're up for some action, she's always game for a rousing game of fetch,
chasing after that ball with gusto.

active household where she'll receive plenty of opportunities for both mental and physical
stimulation.

have fun with other dogs. However, like many of us, she appreciates thoughtful introductions. New
interactions should be handled carefully and gradually to set her up for success and build her
confidence.

Here's some more info about me:
Wynter recently went on a weekend foster field trip, and this is what his foster had to say about
him:
I had the privilege of hanging with Wynter for a couple of days. I have to say this dude is AMAZING!
I checked him out from the shelter for what was supposed to be a day field trip, but he was so
wonderful to be around, it turned into a weekend date.
I have a little girl. She and Wynter decided right away they would be pals. We started the day by
going to a nice shady park, where he met a few other kids to whom he was very sweet. A few off
leash dogs unexpectedly ran up on him and he was cool as a cucumber about it. No leash
reactivity. Got some butt sniffs in and moved on. Next we brought him home. He spent the
weekend chilling in our guest room, hanging in the backyard, helping with gardening, going on
walks, and generally being the handsome boy that he is. He met some horses, which he was
curious about but again no reactivity. Just some curious sniffing.
He has excellent leash manners. He only tugged a few times but mostly we did loose leash
walking. I saw no food aggression around people including my little girl, who is always snacking on
something. He seems more interested in getting attention than treats. We did not see any issues
with resource guarding around people. His favorite toy was a wool dryer ball she gave him. My little
girl would throw it and he would go fetch it for her. He is very sweet with his kisses.
He loved following my little girl around the yard. He wagged his tail the entire time, and was also
very attentive. He chilled next to her as she played an iPad game while stroking his big, silky ears,
then they took a little snooze together. Did I mention he’s so darn soft? Like your very own big fluffy
polar bear.
I discovered he’s mostly likely deaf. HOWEVER, he totally had me fooled at first because he
compensates so well by being very aware of his surroundings. I started to notice that he wasn’t
reacting to sounds my dogs always react to, like other dogs barking or horses neighing. Then we
tested it by knocking hard on doors while he was sleeping and clapping loudly behind his back. He
didn’t seem to notice any of it. If he was sleeping, I had to be careful to let him know I was close by
putting my hand near his nose or else he would startle awake. I also taught my girl not to startle
him and to make sure he always sees her approaching. (If he's hanging out in his back kennel at
the shelter, don’t be surprised if he doesn't come out when you call him—since he can't hear!)
He’s working on potty training (mostly doing good and learning to adjust!). He did have one
accident on the bathroom tile but that could be due to him being in a kennel situation for so long
and not having access to a dog door. When we first picked him up, he was also nervous getting in
& out of our SUV - just needs a little practice but he's getting the hang of it!
Wynter is a very, very special boy. It truly was a privilege to get to know him. While Wynter is deaf,
don’t let that hold you back—he’s easy to manage and just needs a family willing to learn how to
communicate with him through hand signals instead of verbal commands. If you’re looking for a
sweet, loving companion who will make you smile nonstop, he might just be the sunshine you’ve
been waiting for. He’s already neutered and ready to head home today!

exploring the shelter grounds, taking in all the scents and sights with quiet curiosity.
He’s seen a few dogs through the play yard fence and showed no reaction.
But most of all, Trevor just seems like the kind of dog who’d love to hang out with his
people—whether it's going for daily walks or curling up nearby during movie night.
Trevor is ready to trade shelter life for the comforts of home. He’s a good boy, and he’s simply
waiting for someone to give him the chance he deserves.
